Choose-Your-Yarn-Any-Size “Signature Socks” Fall 2018

$35

with Sherry Corbin

Calendar Sep 13, 2018 at 10 am, runs for 5 weeks

Can you knit and purl? Then you can use one long loop knitting needle to make two socks at the same time, toe up or cuff down. We will develop your pattern using any gauge, and for any size. We’ll explore various ways of casting on, turning the heel and binding off for toe up and cuff down socks. A pattern template will be provided for toe up socks including invisible cast on, gusset heel (looks like cuff down sock), and stretchy bind off. For your socks, select a yarn of your choice with any size long loop needle that creates your desired tension. You may wish to select a solid color yarn in DK weight (yarn size 4) and any gauge long loop needle that will yield about 5 stitches per inch. Bring with you: 1) 47 inch long loop (“magic loop”) knitting needle and 2) your yarn divided into 2 balls.
