Join us in the quest to identify indigenous plants and primitive tools, such as arrowheads, spears, scrapers, axe heads, and locally renowned rocks and minerals, all echoing the stories of Native Americans. Each week promises a new adventure at easily accessible locations along the river. Dress in layers and don sturdy footwear, for the outdoor terrain may present surprises of its own. Get ready to uncover the hidden gems and untold tales along the enchanting Piscataquis River! Week 1: Christian Family Camps Guilford Week 2: Abbot boat launch Week 3: Kingsbury stream Abbot Week 4: Past Brans mills, Boat launch Week 5: Sangerville Bridge, both sides. Week 6: Pleasant Street, Private residence (with permission) Week 7: Guilford Park next to Craft Café Week 8: Share class project
