Soup’s on Me - Spoon Carving and Gourd Bowl Spring 2024 - May Session

with Jessica Steele

$80

In this exciting and hands-on class, students will have the unique opportunity to unleash their creativity by carving their very own wooden spoon and crafting a beautiful gourd bowl. Not only will participants learn the art of carving, but they will also have the option to personalize their creations with stunning paint designs or experiment with the intricate technique of woodburning. To facilitate the woodburning process, a wide variety of stencils will be readily available, allowing students to add an extra touch of artistry to their bowls. As the class comes to a close, we will gather together to savor a delicious group meal, where we will proudly enjoy hearty soups and crusty bread served with our newly crafted spoons and bowls. And the best part? The nourishing and comforting meal is on me, a delightful way to celebrate our accomplishments in this incredible class!

All classes are taught by instructor, Jessica Steele and all materials are included. Registration and payment are required to hold your spot in class. Space is limited! Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. If our Adult Ed office or instructor cancel class, refunds will be issued to students.
