This workshop will provide an overview on food budgeting, planning, and shopping; avoiding food waste; how to make fast, inexpensive, and nutritional meals; different ways to cook; how to cook ahead; and food safety. Free materials and handouts by the USDA will be used. This class will be held online every other week to give students a chance to practice introduced techniques. John Kirk has an associates degree as a Dietetic Technician, and two masters degrees in education.
