Dr. Josh McNaughton brought you the Food Plots 101 class. He is now offering an opportunity to expand your knowledge and learn how you can better manage your land for whitetail deer. Learn the basics about hinge cutting, improving bedding habitat, planting beyond forbs, creating edge habitat, and learn about advanced no-till food plot methods that improve soil quality, food availability, and bedding habitat! White Stone Wilderness Survival Course Spring 2025

In this hands-on course, you’ll learn essential wilderness survival skills, including: Building your own survival kit Fire starting techniques Shelter building Water sourcing and purification Identifying wild edibles Trapping for food Navigation and orientation Developing a survival mindset This class will take place in both a classroom and outdoor setting. Please dress in appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather. Children under 14 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Jim Paine, with 50 years of survival and bushcraft experience, is an expert in wild plants and wild edibles. He also participates in search and rescue in Greenville, Maine. This is his third program teaching wilderness survival.
